If you want to know Hawaii, you must visit the heart, the Big Island of Hawaii. Nature rules on the Big Island. Sisters Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea overlook rain forests, colorful beaches, peaceful lagoons and one of our favorite spots, South Point. This spot is named for being the southern most point in the US. The currents will drag you to Antartica, making for a great spot for sport fishing. The spot is marked by an ancient Heiau because it is believed that a bird lead the first Hawaiian settlers to this spot. It’s a powerful spot because you feel like you are perched on one of the corners of the world.
