Bonsai Exhibit
07/04/2008 - 07/05/2008 Cultural Exhibit-Show
An annual exhibit of bonsai, the Japanese art of taking normally large plants and trees and training them – by special culture – to grow into artistic dwarf shapes in small pots. This one of a kind show draws the best of bonsai enthusiasts from around the Big Island. Wailoa Arts and Culture Center at Wailoa State Park in Hilo. Free. Friday 8:30 – 4:30, Saturday 9 – 3.
