This award-winning cellist performs – with piano accompaniment – sonatas by Beethoven, Brahms and St. Saens along with compositions by Leos Janacek. Requiro has won every major US cello prize and was winner of the Naumburg 2008 cello competition. 7:30 p.m. Fee. University of Hawaii – Hilo Performing Arts Center.
