Shopping Centers

Besides great little shops and boutiques scattered around the island, Hawaii also has some great shopping centers. Hilo town has a small mall right in downtown and a large enclosed mall on the edge of town with everything from gift shops and boutiques to casual eateries and a multiplex movie theater, as well as national department stores. The Kohala Coast has an alfresco collection of shops that are a gift-buyer’s dream. And upcountry Waimea town’s shopping center has got everything from groceries to cowboy duds.

Keauhou Shopping Center
Keauhou Shopping Center is a beautiful open-air center located 7 miles from Kailua-Kona on Alii Drive. Besides specialty shops, drugstores, banks and grocery stores, there are restaurants, a multi-plex movie theater and medical clinics. Dining options range from pizza and burgers to Mexican, Thai and Japanese.

Parker Ranch Center
Where friends and visitors find everything! Anchored by the popular tourist attraction Parker Ranch Store and the life-size, historic Ikua Purdy statue. The Center has several Big Island product retailers and is known for its Fireside Food Court with 32 historic Paniolo murals depicting its cowboy heritage.
