All major carriers fly into Honolulu International Airport. It is a short connecting flight to the Big Island. Flights depart from the Inter-island Terminal, about a 20-minute walk from the international terminal, or you can catch the free Wiki-Wiki bus to the Inter-island terminal. Be sure to check your baggage all the way through to Hawaii Island to avoid the hassle of having to pick it up in Honolulu and checking it in again for Kona or Hilo.
